Cacao, Food Of The Gods – Honouring Tradition

The Mexican tradition of eating chocolate (Cacao) is very different to what we are familiar with. It is traditionally eaten as a hot beverage, made from the ground beans, herbs and spices, and sweetened with honey.
in addition to drinking the Cacao, people would grind the beans and spices together on the matatė to form coarse chocolates that would be rolled into chunky blocks or set in mounds, nothing like we buy in the stores today. These intense Cacao offerings provide huge energy surges, stave off hunger for hours and naturally give us a high that is quite amazing!
It was to honour this tradition that I have created the chocolate sacraments that you find here.
The Herbs and spices that are blended with the Cacao in each drink have been selected for their health balancing properties, and their ability to assist us in shifting our consciousness and connecting with ancient tradition.
I use premium cacao beans, working them in a conching machine to give an incredible smooth texture, all the ingredients are ground for around 10 hours, infused with the frequency of Tuning Forks to heighten their potency, and prayers are woven into the mix for gratitude and healing.
